Serves 6. Christmas side dishes really make a Christmas meal, add this one to your repertoire and your family will thank you forever.
- Chop bacon, add to a saucepan with a little olive oil.
- Slice leeks, onion and garlic, after a few minutes, add to the bacon.
- Season with sea salt and black pepper and cook for a further 3-4 minutes until softened.
- Add the white wine, reduce it by about half, add the cream and reduce it again by half.
